Tenor with the Golden Voice

This brilliant Armenian tenor, living in France, has been described by the critics as having exceptionally beautiful voice and remarkable charisma.
This young tenor has great vocal capabilities enabling him to have a wide-ranging repertoire. He is expert in everything from Bach and Haendel to Verdi, from Donizetti to Tchaikovsky, from Gounod to Puccini and Saint Sans.
He was the first Armenian artist to perform not once but twice in palaces in Versailles and the Luxembourg Garden where he received standing ovations.

During the Year of Armenia in France, 2006-2007, Elbakian toured seven cities(Paris, Versailles, Nice, Bordeaux, Marseille and Valence) For every performance he was warmly rewarded with more standing ovations and laudatory reviews in the local press.

He has also recorded his version of LA MARSEILLAISE  This was warmly welcomed by the critics as well as by politicians.
Beyond a rich classical repertoire, the tenor devotes to the music of Naples. The release of his album «Neapolitan song» is expected in the beginning of March.

He will be on a new tour in Italy, Russia and the USA associated with the release of this album.

"A Golden voice. Powerful and at the same time tender, warm and vibrating, striking with great beauty, an interpretation in which the music is transformed into a play, a play of shades and of harmony. Magnificent, and Scarce! And what a presence! Immense possibilities of career for this Caruso from Armenia".
